The thing is that I felt it can be better.
Diamond Frame Final Video from ivan low on Vimeo.
However I was trying to press my computer to work harder and at the end of the calculation I realize I need 20 days to achieve my original vision of the video.
I think must be that CAD file export to be render as mesh result in that heavy load rendering in the software.
Here I put in the company logo and begin with a title from the start. All is good for now. I’m sure there are room for improvement.
I suppose the best way to go about it is remodel my ring in sub-D program and and arrive at much smooth, much faster result.
I apologize for the delay.
Apparently there has been an order error with the ring. So I reordered it and push back the sale date to end of June. Hopefully there will be no error this time. For now, sit back and relax. More new stuff is coming your way. Check back soon.
Diamond Frame Iteration 3
Today I have updated the front profile that resembles a diamond shape.
From the top, I increased the cross section from the outer rim to the inner circle.
At the bottom of the ring I increased the cross section frequency, which can be viewed from the top layer.
Diamond Frame Iteration 2
Here I build on from my previous form to find the diamond shape. This is far from completion, however I’m happy with the center piece development, I’ll continue to work on it tomorrow. I plan to give the outer ring profile a slight slant when view from the front of the ring and add more complex cross details. I’m very curious of the result.
The Making of Diamond Frame
Not long ago I saw some diamond rings in a fashion magazine. I was inspired by its form and now I’m working to make a ring using metal material to come up with structure that retain the glory of a diamond stone. I wish to accomplish something that will capture the geometry of a diamond. Here is the first shot I got on my concept. Drop me a comment on the subject. Thanks.
